My first polished track of 2018! I wrote this about a friend who over exerted himself on a hiking trip about two years ago. It's important to take care of yourself, but when you can't, your friends will always be there for you. That's kind of what I wanted to say with this song.

The picture is of a flowering plant called Polemonium viscosum. It's also called sky pilot and handful of other names. I took the picture at the top of a mountain called Chimney Rock that we ascended the day before my friend collapsed.
